Not only was Ben Franklin an astrologer, but he conspired with Thomas Jefferson (another astrology fan) to have the Declaration of Independence adopted on July 4th, 1776, rather than on July 2nd, the date proposed by John Adams. On July 2, the Moon was in her detriment (weakest sign) of Capricorn, where she would oppose the Cancer Sun, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter. These aspects are not ideal for beginning any new venture, much less forming of a new country. By July 4th, however, the full Moon was safely into Aquarius and well out of the argument zone with the Sun. These Founding Fathers knew what they were doing, in more ways than just politically!
